GIS Specialist

AECOM's Transportation Division is seeking a GIS Specialist in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for supporting a variety of geospatial and data analysis tasks for technology, transportation, and traffic applications. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining accurate geospatial datasets, maps, and reports using ArcGIS Online and other GIS software, tools, and technologies, conducting data analysis to support transportation planning, design, and maintenance projects, developing custom mapping applications and dashboards, and collaborating with transportation planners and engineers. Requirements include knowledge of transportation systems and related data, proficiency with ArcGIS, MS Office, and preparing graphics and visuals. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills and excellent written, verbal, and graphical communication abilities. This hybrid position requires in-office work in Houston, Texas. Permanent residency sponsorship is available for current H1-B visa holders in the United States.
