GIS Specialist

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a GIS Specialist (Assistant Staff Geospatial Scientist) for their Pasadena, California office. SWCA's GIS Department comprises over 70 GIS professionals with diverse expertise in GIS design, cartography, data management, and more. The position supports environmental projects managed by archaeologists, biologists, planners, and more across the Pacific Southwest region. Responsibilities include GIS data editing, analysis, and cartography using ArcGIS Pro, managing geospatial databases, developing web maps and applications on ArcGIS Online, GPS data collection using Field Maps and Survey 123, creating complex map products with spatial analyses, and building automation tools. Requires Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or related field, minimum one year professional GIS experience, proficiency with ArcGIS and GPS technology. SWCA is a 100% employee-owned environmental consulting firm with 45 years of experience. Hourly, full-time, regular position with benefits, potential for remote work. Salary range approximately $22-$29/hour based on qualifications and location.
