GIS Specialist

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a GIS Specialist (HR Title: Assistant Staff Geospatial Scientist) for one of their Arizona and Nevada offices (Las Vegas, Reno, Phoenix, Flagstaff, Tucson) or remote within Arizona or Nevada. The position reports to the Geospatial Sciences Team Lead and supports natural and cultural resources and planning programs across the five-office region. This fast-paced job requires the ability to multitask while maintaining technical precision. Key responsibilities include supporting GIS workload to meet productivity goals, using ArcGIS Desktop/Pro for data editing, analysis, and cartography, managing geospatial databases and developing Web Maps/Apps on ArcGIS Online, handling GPS data collection using Field Maps and Survey 123, creating complex map products with spatial and raster analyses, and building automation tools and documenting GIS processes. Requires Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Archaeology, or related field, minimum one year professional GIS experience, proficiency with ArcGIS, cartography, and GPS technology. SWCA's GIS Department comprises over 70 GIS professionals. Salary: $22.58 - $28.88/hour. Full-time with benefits.
