The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is seeking a GIS Summer Intern for a 10-week summer internship at the Philip Merrill Environmental Center in Annapolis, Maryland. The intern will work with geospatial data collection, analysis, and mapping to support CBF staff through map creation, spatial analysis, and field data collection work using ESRI GIS software. Core responsibilities include creating static and interactive maps using ESRI tools, performing spatial analysis on raster and vector datasets, managing and entering geospatial data, and conducting field work supporting CBF programs. Requirements include current enrollment as an undergraduate or master's student with anticipated graduation between Spring 2026 and Spring 2028, minimum two GIS courses completed, pursuit of a degree in Geography, Environmental Science, or related field, and working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Survey123.
