Performs technical work supporting the development, maintenance, and operation of the City's Geographic Information System (GIS) in the Engineering Department. Essential duties include maintaining GIS databases, performing data validation and editing, digitizing and converting data, updating utility and zoning maps, utilizing GPS equipment for spatial data collection, preparing GIS-based maps and reports, and assisting city departments with mapping and analysis needs. Requires proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and GPS units. Bachelor's degree required with major coursework in GIS, Geography, Planning, Engineering, or Computer Science. One year of relevant experience preferred. $25.61-$35.26/hour.
