Dartmouth College invites applications for the Guarini Dean's Postdoctoral Fellowship for qualified applicants working in geography and related disciplines whose research falls within the field of Geospatial Information Science, with priority for applications related to environmental health and equity issues.
This is a two-year residential fellowship in which the fellow is focused on their research and writing. Particular attention will be given to candidates whose work augments and complements current faculty in the Department of Geography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent research in Geospatial Information Science
- Focus on research and writing during the two-year fellowship
- Collaborate with Department of Geography faculty
- Present research at departmental seminars
- Potential limited teaching responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
- PhD degree, or ABD with degree received before the start date, in geography or a related discipline with focus on Geospatial Science
- Research within the field of Geospatial Information Science
- Demonstrated commitment to educational diversity
