Head of the American Geographical Society Library

UW-Milwaukee seeks a Head of the American Geographical Society Library (AGSL) to lead one of North America's premier cartographic research libraries. The position oversees collections of maps, atlases, books, periodicals, photos, and geospatial data spanning from the 15th century to present. Responsibilities include managing the collection's geographic scope, supervising library staff, developing digitization initiatives using GIS and related technologies, and advancing cartographic librarianship through scholarly contributions, grant-seeking, and professional engagement in the geospatial field. This is a tenure-track faculty librarian role at a research library with deep ties to the geography and geospatial science communities.
