Supervisory Geographer/Cartographer position within the USGS National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC) in Lakewood, Colorado. Supervises and directs a workforce of Unit Supervisors and geospatial professionals. Provides management over the production and maintenance of hydrography data including project planning, project monitoring, and execution. Performs planning, budgeting, project management, and oversight for numerous production-related projects. Provides on-going tracking of mapping projects and metrics to assess, compare, and monitor performance and production. Identifies and resolves issues in current operational workflows and processes. Plans and implements new operational capabilities including the on-going evolution of systems and procedures. Defines policies and procedures for assessing and integrating data from multiple sources. Serves as the hydrography technical advisor and subject matter expert for The National Map. GS-13, $118,675 - $154,280 per year. Permanent, full-time. Open through 04/17/2026.
