Image Analyst

Maxar Technologies is hiring an Image Analyst to join their team in Longmont, CO. You will be responsible for processing satellite data into a variety of Maxar product offerings. Key responsibilities include processing orthomosaics using proprietary software, gaining thorough knowledge of production procedures, ensuring product offerings meet quality standards, performing quality control checks on satellite imagery products, and collaborating with the production team to meet delivery schedules. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, geospatial, or related field, or four years of equivalent experience. Must be able to work onsite 4 days per week on first shift schedule (8am-4:30pm or 9am-5:30pm) and must be able to support rotating, on-call weekends. Knowledge of remote sensing principles, image processing techniques, and geospatial data formats preferred. Experience with satellite imagery analysis tools and GIS software is a plus.
