The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency is seeking an Imagery Analyst to maintain and build tasking strategies, and analyze and interpret imagery to support U.S. military and policymaker interests. Analysts examine activities and interests of countries, regions, and non-state entities, as well as the impact of natural and man-made disasters. Responsibilities include conducting multi-source intelligence research, populating and exploiting intelligence databases, producing moderately complex intelligence products, developing regional or functional expertise, maintaining relationships with intelligence partners and customers, and supporting 24/7 operations as needed. Mandatory qualifications include experience developing and presenting briefings, producing analytical products on national matters using structured techniques, collaborative work experience, using analytical tools for data analysis, and research, imagery, and geospatial analysis experience. Desirable qualifications include GIS experience, technical skills in computer vision, data mining, visualization, and statistics, and knowledge of imaging systems. Requires Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geography, Political Science, Remote Sensing, or related field, OR 24+ semester hours in relevant field plus 4 years intelligence work experience, OR 4 years minimum experience analyzing imagery. Top Secret/SCI clearance and counterintelligence polygraph required. Salary range $85,447-$158,322/year.
