The Colorado Department of Public Safety, Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, is hiring an Infrastructure Protection GIS Analyst. This grant-funded role focuses on providing advanced data management, GIS operations, and real-time analytics support that enhance the State of Colorado's situational awareness within the Colorado Information Analysis Center. Key responsibilities include conducting critical infrastructure assessments using GIS tools and the Critical Infrastructure Reporting Tool (CIRT), managing geospatial data from multiple sources while maintaining data integrity, integrating real-time data feeds (Dataminr alerts, threat reports) into GIS dashboards, developing maps, vulnerability assessments, and intelligence products for leadership, providing GIS support during emergencies and State Emergency Operations Center activations, and facilitating data-sharing agreements with partner agencies. Applicants must have three years of professional GIS experience including work in criminal cases, emergency operations centers, fusion centers, or collaboration with multi-level government partners. Preferred qualifications include expertise with ESRI ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online/Enterprise, experience with critical infrastructure sectors, fusion center or intelligence analysis background, NIMS and ICS training/experience. Colorado residency required at application. Must obtain and maintain SECRET security clearance (DHS). Salary range: $78,828-$106,524 annually.
