IT Professional - Applications (GIS Developer)

The Houston Airport System is hiring an IT Professional - Applications (GIS Developer). The Houston Information Technology Services GIS Services team seeks a developer to design and maintain automated workflows for spatial data across airport operations. Primary responsibilities include building ETL processes using tools like ArcGIS Pro Model Builder, FME Workbench, and Python; administering geodatabase access; publishing GIS datasets as map services; managing versioning and replication of enterprise geodatabases; and collaborating with IT teams and departmental users on data requirements for airport facilities, assets, and operations. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field plus 5 years of IT applications experience. Preferences include ArcGIS Pro expertise, enterprise geodatabase administration, ETL/Python skills, and FME experience. Full-time, Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM. Salary range: $2,916.00-$3,846.15 biweekly (Pay Grade 26). Based at 611 Walker, Houston, TX 77002. Closes April 23, 2026.
