The Land Protection Specialist supports the implementation of Pennsylvania and Delaware land protection strategies, including land protection activities in Delaware to support marsh migration in response to Sea Level Rise. The Specialist will support the land protection team in implementing the strategies and employ a full range of protection tools to acquire varying degrees of legal interest in land, provide project support and coordination, and create maps using ArcGIS. The Specialist will contract and manage due diligence for acquisition projects. This person is required to work out of the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania office three days a week, but will work across Pennsylvania and Delaware to support land acquisition efforts. Required qualifications include BA/BS degree in natural resources management, conservation, business, law or another related field and 3 years of related work experience in conservation, real estate or related experience, experience with GIS software and creating maps, experience completing tasks independently with respect to timeline(s), and communication experience via written, spoken and graphical means. Projected start date of July 6, 2026.
