Woolpert seeks a Maritime Hydrographic Surveyor for their Wasilla, Alaska office. The role involves approximately 100 days of annual travel across the United States. Field Responsibilities: The position includes multibeam and singlebeam hydrographic surveys, GNSS topographic surveys, terrestrial LiDAR surveys, survey vessel mobilization, and control surveys. Experience with small vessels and coastal waterways is preferred. Office Responsibilities: Tasks encompass multibeam and singlebeam data processing and GNSS control network processing using AutoCAD Civil 3D and LiDAR processing software. Required Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, environmental science, ocean engineering, geology, geography, spatial science, marine science, or comparable field is mandatory. Candidates must be self-motivated, resourceful, and flexible problem-solvers with genuine interest in marine-focused work. Preferred Skills: Experience with Global Mapper, marine software (QINSy, CARIS, EIVA Beamworks), Trimble GPS systems, AutoCAD, MS-Visio, Adobe Creative Suite, LiDAR processing, and 3D visualization.
