The MEL Specialist provides technical leadership to TNC Colombia's Sustainable Productive Systems (SPS) team in the design, implementation, and management of monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) systems. Primary responsibilities include: developing theories of change and results chains for projects and programs; managing MEL systems with data quality assurance; leading SPS MEL Plan design and implementation with quarterly reporting metrics; supporting regional and global team alignment on performance targets; producing cartographic and GIS-based inputs for technical processes; facilitating team training on MEL understanding and documentation; and organizing and maintaining electronic files and supporting evidence. This role requires producing high-quality GIS maps and spatial analyses to support conservation reporting and decision-making. Proficiency in GIS, ArcGIS, Power BI, and Excel is required. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in biological, environmental, agricultural, or forestry sciences; Master's degree preferred in natural resource management, ecology, GIS, or related fields; minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in similar roles within conservation practice and sustainable development; strong analytical and scientific data interpretation abilities; English language proficiency required. Full-time, fixed-term contract for one year with possible renewal.
