The Post Doctoral Scholar will report to Assistant Professor Martina Leveni in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering and will support research initiatives related to geothermal reservoir modeling and geospatial analysis. Responsibilities include developing stochastic reservoir models, conducting geospatial analyses of geothermal resources, and managing geospatial datasets and databases. The individual will also mentor graduate and undergraduate students, collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams, and contribute to publications, reports, and presentations. Required: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. and possess strong expertise in reservoir modeling, computational fluid dynamics, and related analytical methodologies, along with experience using geospatial analysis and mapping tools such as ArcGIS. Proficiency in programming languages including Python, MATLAB, or similar platforms is required, as well as experience managing and analyzing large, multi-source datasets. Hiring Range: $61,008 - $65,000.
