What We Can Achieve Together: The Preserve Data Integration Specialist will work across teams within the Leveraging our Lands program to collect, manage and maintain preserve-based infrastructure data and provide technical support in ArcGIS or other relational database technologies to Conservancy staff. The Preserve Data Integration Specialist will be responsible for coordinating with state staff to gather existing data and collect new infrastructure data at a selection of preserves that will be prioritized for visitation. They will perform data analysis; design and produce advanced complex queries and professional reports, process spatial and other relational data sets derived from cartographic and tabular source material and provide hardware/software support. The Preserve Data Integration Specialist will additionally develop and deliver training to staff individually and in groups, produce maps and other graphic products and reports. They develop and maintain GIS library and/or database products library and compile, assemble, and maintain land protection, biodiversity, and management information from various sources. The Preserve Data Integration Specialist is a remote position in the United States. This role will require travel in the US up to 30% of the time. In this role, the Specialist will need the ability to traverse various, rugged terrains (from sandy beaches, to roots, and rocks) with slopes greater than 25% as needed.
