Product Engineer - Geospatial Data Science - GeoAI

Esri is seeking a Product Engineer to ensure the quality and usability of geospatial AI tools, models, and libraries. The role focuses on designing and implementing test plans, writing test code, and validating software, SDKs, and AI models while collaborating with data scientists across product releases. Responsibilities: develop test plans and verify code changes to maintain product quality; analyze test results and report on software stability; address customer issues and gather improvement feedback; collaborate on testing and documentation of geospatial AI tools; create samples, tutorials, and documentation; and help develop pre-trained geospatial AI models. Required qualifications: 2-8 years in software development or QA, preferably in product-based companies; proficiency in Python, Jupyter notebooks, and GIS libraries (GDAL/Rasterio, ArcPy); familiarity with GIS concepts and spatial data; a basic understanding of machine learning and deep learning; and a bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
