Implement project activities as part of a diversified team under the CRIS project, providing GIS and spatial analysis support for species distribution mapping, habitat assessment, and restoration monitoring. Specific duties include: providing GIS support for species mapping and habitat restoration monitoring; compiling, cleaning, and processing geospatial data from multiple sources including satellite imagery, field GPS data, and secondary databases; assisting with indicator tracking, data collection, and M&E reporting; preparing maps and visual materials for technical reports and publications; supporting spatial data integration and maintaining geospatial databases; developing geospatial layers, shapefiles, and metadata following IUCN standards; conducting geospatial analysis for restoration site identification; supporting field surveys and data collection activities; and maintaining project documentation and data archives. Requires a Master's degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Forestry, Zoology, or related fields, or Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years relevant experience. Candidates must have 5+ years professional experience in GIS/geospatial analysis, advanced GIS training and practical experience with QGIS/ArcGIS, remote sensing and satellite imagery experience (Landsat, Sentinel), field data collection experience with GPS and mobile tools (KoBo/ODK), proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop, and strong communication skills in English and Bangla. Fixed-term contract up to 12 months with possibility of renewal. Grade A3, 100% work percentage. Expected start date: 1 May 2026.
