Are you an experienced Architect ready to shape enterprise solutions and drive innovation? Trissential is seeking a Project Architect II to join our client’s team and lead architecture governance across multiple projects. Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture governance and ensure compliance with standards across 4–5 projects
  • Evaluate vendor technologies and integrate solutions into Xcel’s environment
  • Participate in RFP evaluations, vendor demos, and solution selection
  • Develop high-level and detailed technical designs to meet business requirements
  • Conduct performance and reliability testing for enterprise solutions
  • Collaborate with system integrators, project managers, and business stakeholders
  • Ensure regulatory and security compliance for all solutions

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Solution, Project, Group, or Enterprise Architect
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF, DoDAF)
  • Strong background in solution implementation and architecture governance
  • Experience with GIS platforms (Smallworld, ESRI)
  • Developer-to-Architect career progression
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience in the utility or energy sector
  • Knowledge of workflow management tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Server and network configuration experience

Education & Certifications You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Certifications in architecture frameworks are a plus but not required

Competitive Compensation – You choose the model that works best for you, both with company-sponsored benefits! $127,000–$147,000 annually or $74–$84 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and location.
