Project to Senior GIS Analyst

Geosyntec Consultants has an opportunity for a Project to Senior GIS Analyst based in their Richmond, Virginia office, with flexibility across Northeast offices including Pittsburgh PA, Philadelphia PA, Blue Bell PA, Bedford NH, Huntington WV, Wilmington NC, Raleigh NC, and other U.S. offices. Hybrid and fully remote options available at company discretion. Key responsibilities include providing technical leadership and developing delivery team expertise, compiling, verifying, and analyzing large and diverse datasets using statistical models for quantitative analysis, designing GIS projects with ESRI ArcGIS software for spatial data visualization, developing automated workflows for multi-source data compilation, and supporting route and site selection studies, environmental permitting, water resources, and geotechnical construction projects. Requires Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, or related field, minimum 7 years GIS and database experience, proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, Microsoft Access, route and site quantitative analysis experience, and valid U.S. driver's license. Preferred: Advanced degree, 8+ years experience, Python and SQL scripting, Microsoft SQL Server expertise, and field data collection experience with GPS equipment. Salary: $68,000 - $98,000.
