The City of Corvallis Public Works Department seeks a GIS Data Steward Analyst to maintain Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for infrastructure asset management. The analyst serves as the primary contact for Public Works CMMS data stewardship and applies GIS technology for data support and technical analysis. Essential Duties: Collect, input, edit, and verify spatial data from multiple sources including field surveys and existing maps. Maintain GIS datasets and mapping systems; develop spatial queries and reports. Modify and maintain CMMS data; collaborate with Asset Management staff. Coordinate data entry with Public Works supervisors and department personnel. Generate standard and ad-hoc reports for maintenance teams. Perform quality control checks on asset data to ensure accuracy. Provide GIS/CMMS implementation and user support across departments. Troubleshoot system and data issues in collaboration with IT. Develop programs and procedures using GIS software tools. Provide technical user assistance and project management support. Operate large-format plotters and printing equipment. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent plus four years professional GIS application experience (a post-secondary GIS degree may substitute for up to four years of experience). Strong computer skills including GIS software, CAD, databases, spreadsheets, and Windows OS. Advanced GIS and CMMS production environment proficiency. Desired Qualifications: Municipal experience. Programming ability in GIS, spatial database, and web languages. Knowledge of database concepts, municipal asset management, cartographic principles, and spatial analysis.
