Woolpert seeks a Remote Sensing Technician to join their Geospatial Team. This entry-level position involves sensor operation, data processing, and reporting for airborne mapping missions. The role requires both domestic and international travel with a rotational schedule of 30-90 days. Key Responsibilities: Download, process, edit, and troubleshoot collected sensor data while in the field; set up and operate ground GPS base stations and manage flight planning operations; install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot airborne sensor equipment on the ground and in flight; complete required field documentation and safety protocols. Requirements: U.S. citizenship with valid passport; legal work authorization (no visa sponsorship available); high school diploma or equivalent; willingness to travel extensively and undergo background screening; understanding of computer hardware and GIS systems. Preferred Qualifications: Land survey or hydrographic data experience; proficiency with tools like ArcGIS, MicroStation, Leica LSS, MissionPro, Qimera, Global Mapper, QINSy, HYPACK, Edgetech Discover, TerraSolid, SonarWiz; knowledge of geomatics and aerial acquisition systems; experience with bathymetric or hydrographic data.
