The State of Michigan, Department of Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation Division is seeking a Resource Analyst 9-12 to serve as the primary geospatial data expert. This permanent full-time position involves managing, administering, and evaluating data for visualization, reporting and mapping, providing specialized expertise on GIS data integration systems, conducting training, assisting with the DNR's overall GIS environment, and creating visualizations and dashboards. The role supports the Parks and Recreation Division as the lead for geospatial data management and analysis. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in physical/biological sciences, natural resource science, resource management, resource planning, engineering, or related field. Experience requirements vary by level: Level 9 requires no specific experience; Level 10 requires one year in land/water resource protection; Level 11 requires two years including one year at Level 10 equivalent; Level 12 requires three years including one year at Level 11 equivalent.
