Woolpert seeks a Senior Geospatial Specialist for their Survey & Geomatics team to support land surveying, reality capture (mobile mapping and terrestrial scanning), UAS, and geodetic projects. The role involves scan registration, survey data processing and adjustments, feature extraction, staff training, team management, cost estimating, scheduling, technical oversight, and project reporting. Key responsibilities include performing technical deliverables with QA/QC procedures aligned to scope, schedule, and budget; managing registration tasks, project schedules, budgets, and quality standards; developing standard operating procedures and workflows; collaborating on project QA/QC standards with survey, UAS, and Lidar teams; executing R&D efforts for new workflows; communicating project status updates; supporting marketing initiatives and making formal presentations; mentoring junior staff; and supporting feature extraction production. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geodetic Science, GIS, Geography, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years experience (Master's with 8+ years or PhD with 5+ years also acceptable); practical knowledge of survey and Lidar principles as well as DOT specifications; working knowledge of Lidar and survey data processing software; experience with TopoDOT, Microstation Connect, OpenRoads Designer, Leica Pegasus Manager, Terra Solid, Revit, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS; experience with GPS/RTK, UAS, mobile and terrestrial Lidar sensors, IMU and DME technology. Salary $101,200-$126,500 USD. Current work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.
