The Senior GIS Analyst reports to the GIS Coordinator and focuses on integrating geographic information systems to enhance city operations. The analyst manages spatial data, develops GIS applications, and conducts advanced geospatial analysis supporting city planning and decision-making. Essential duties include managing GIS hardware and software including configuration and maintenance, designing data models and establishing data collection standards, providing technical support and training to GIS software users, coordinating external GIS implementation consultants, developing methodologies for ESRI ArcGIS Online, Enterprise, and Tyler EERP deployment, conducting quality assurance for data accuracy and reliability, maintaining SQL databases and ArcGIS Server environments.
