Senior Solutions Engineer

Nearmap is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to support P&C insurance clients by offering custom solutions, conducting product demos, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. Nearmap is a leading provider of high-resolution aerial imagery and geospatial data, capturing and delivering frequently updated location content. Key responsibilities include providing technical pre-sales support for Nearmap's geospatial products, conducting product demonstrations and proof-of-concept projects, collaborating with sales teams to develop customer solutions using aerial imagery and location intelligence, integrating Nearmap data with customer GIS and enterprise systems, troubleshooting technical issues and providing customer support, and developing solution architectures for insurance, utilities, and government clients. Required qualifications: 3+ years in Solution Engineering or a similar pre-sales role, strong presentation and interpersonal skills, proficiency in geospatial applications (ArcGIS, QGIS), and programming experience particularly with Python. Preferred: background in Insurance, Insurtech, or related fields like Electrical Utilities, Telecommunications, or AEC.
