Sr. GIS Solution Engineer - AEC

Esri seeks a Senior GIS Solution Engineer serving as a geospatial and industry expert who identifies appropriate analysis tools for business problems. The successful candidate will create innovative GIS solutions, communicate their value to customers, and advise account teams on complex challenges while demonstrating how GIS finds unique patterns, trends, and understanding. Key Responsibilities: Build client relationships by presenting and demonstrating Esri software to enterprise decision-makers, leading technical meetings that drive revenue. Serve as an expert in Esri technology and AEC/environmental consulting sectors, developing complex solutions for strategic customers. Propose GIS-based solutions addressing critical customer challenges and aligning technology with business needs. Design presentations for diverse audiences, provide configuration guidance, and present at major conferences. Required Qualifications: 5+ years using Esri technology for mapping, spatial analysis, and web applications. 3+ years in AEC, environmental consulting, or related industries. Broad ArcGIS knowledge (IT infrastructure, cloud computing, security, networking). Technical consulting and solution design experience. Sales and business development understanding. Geodatabase and DBMS expertise. Cloud computing knowledge (Azure/AWS). Software integration experience (data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP). Python and JavaScript programming skills. Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, or related field. Travel capability (25-50%). U.S. work authorization (no visa sponsorship). Recommended Qualifications: Real-time data stream integration experience. Master's degree in relevant field. Azure or AWS platform experience. Autodesk software familiarity. 3D geospatial expertise. AEC industry business-level knowledge. Salary Range: $95,680–$168,480 USD.
