Esri seeks an experienced SRE engineer to deploy and operate ArcGIS Velocity and ArcGIS Workflow Manager SaaS solutions, designing next-generation real-time and big data GIS capabilities serving thousands of cloud users globally. Responsibilities include operating SaaS capabilities across multiple cloud regions, designing and implementing monitoring systems for product health assessment, managing infrastructure and responding to alerts, building automation for deployment pipelines and incident resolution, deploying and upgrading containerized microservice components, automating Git workflows for code integration and infrastructure deployment, providing root cause analysis for system incidents, and supporting rotational on-call operations. Requires 5+ years managing Kubernetes (EKS), logging/monitoring (ELK, Prometheus), and containers (Docker, ECS), Terraform expertise for infrastructure provisioning, scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, and Terraform, strong AWS cloud platform knowledge, Linux administration expertise, cloud networking skills (VPCs, security groups, VPNs), and a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, GIS, or information systems. Recommended qualifications include AWS certifications, OpenSearch and Kafka experience, and ArcGIS or web mapping technology familiarity. Salary range: $82,160-$138,320 USD.
