Stantec is seeking a sUAS Program Geospatial Analyst based in Santa Barbara, California to support the company's expanding drone-based survey and mapping operations. The position involves processing and analyzing geospatial data collected from small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS/drones) for environmental, infrastructure, and surveying projects across North America. Key responsibilities include processing drone-captured imagery and LiDAR data using photogrammetry and remote sensing software, creating orthomosaics, digital surface models, and 3D point clouds from aerial survey data, performing quality assurance and quality control of geospatial deliverables, managing and organizing large volumes of geospatial data, and supporting field operations for drone survey missions. The Geospatial Analyst will work with industry-standard software including ArcGIS Pro, Pix4D, DroneDeploy, and other photogrammetry platforms. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Remote Sensing, Surveying, or related field, plus experience with UAS data processing and geospatial analysis. Knowledge of FAA Part 107 regulations and drone survey operations is preferred.
