Survey Technician

The Land Survey Group at Ayres Associates is seeking a Survey Technician in their Wisconsin offices (Madison and Waukesha locations). Key responsibilities include executing various field and office surveying and mapping activities, operating survey instruments including GPS/GNSS, robotic total stations, and CAD platforms, working collaboratively with crew chiefs, technicians, and surveyors, maintaining safety compliance with OSHA standards, and traveling occasionally for assignments. Required qualifications: Two-year degree in land surveying or civil engineering technology, 1-2 years relevant experience, proficiency with survey equipment and software, ability to traverse uneven terrain and lift 50 lbs, valid driver's license with clean record. Desired qualifications include experience with specialized survey services (design, geospatial control, construction layout, land surveys) and software platforms including Trimble equipment, Civil3D/AutoCAD, and Microstation.
