Wake Forest University's Environment and Sustainability Studies Program seeks an engaged, creative, and committed teacher-scholar for a one-year, non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor position in Remote Sensing, with experience in geographic information systems (GIS), beginning July 1, 2026. The teaching load is three courses per semester, or the equivalent in lab-based courses (typically two lab courses per semester). Candidates should have a Ph.D. in geography, environmental studies, anthropology, environmental engineering, conservation biology, environmental sciences, natural resource management, forestry, or related fields. ABDs will also be considered.
