The Nature Conservancy's Clean Energy Transition (CET) team is an interdisciplinary team focused on accelerating the renewable energy transition to support climate, conservation, and community goals. The CET Spatial & Data Analyst conducts spatial analysis, mapping, and data visualization using GIS tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) and performs statistical analyses in R or Python to support ecological, social, and energy-related datasets. The analyst helps ensure that TNC's renewable energy strategies are grounded in rigorous science, accessible insights, and timely analysis that supports decision-making across the organization, working closely with the Social-Ecological Scientist and coordinating with regional teams in Europe, India, and North America. Requires demonstrated ability to conduct spatial analysis with geospatial datasets and proficiency performing statistical analyses in R or Python. A Master's degree in environmental science, geography, ecology, sustainability science, data science, or a related field and 1 year of relevant experience is required. Location is flexible within countries where TNC has an established office; U.S. starting base salary range is approximately $50,745 - $90,780.
