Clean Cooking Planning Officer (Retainer)

Clean Cooking Planning Officer (Retainer) position hosted by Sustainable Energy for All under UNOPS. This role offers technical support for clean cooking initiatives across Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. The role supports energy planning and modelling to scale clean cooking transitions through data analysis, geospatial tools, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities: Conducting research and quantitative analysis for clean cooking projects in developing countries. Supporting energy modeling and data collection for investment pipelines, including geospatial analysis. Contributing to Global eCooking Coalition portfolio development. Assisting with advocacy campaigns and knowledge product creation. Supporting multi-stakeholder workshops and convenings. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in energy, economics, engineering, or related field. Minimum 2 years' experience in energy access within developing contexts. Proficiency with energy modeling tools and geospatial/quantitative analysis. Fluent English; French, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, or Russian desirable. Contract Details: Retainer position - up to 204 working days over 12 months (~17 days monthly). ICS Level 08 (Associate). Reporting to Senior Officer, Clean Cooking.
