About the Position: This is a permanent position with the U.S. Army Geospatial Center in Alexandria, VA, as Deputy Product Director. In this interdisciplinary role, the incumbent will lead the acquisition, integration, and programmatic management of vital, state-of-the-art military engineering reconnaissance and geospatial systems. Join our team to deliver critical geospatial capabilities to warfighters worldwide. Duties: Serves as the Deputy Product Director, managing the cost, schedule, performance, and life-cycle support of complex Department of Defense Programs of Record, specialized geospatial systems, and military engineering reconnaissance technologies. Oversees the design, development, and integration of state-of-the-art surveying, mapping, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to ensure seamless dissemination of critical spatial data to Joint Forums and warfighters. Formulates, defends, and executes multi-year program budgets and spend plans; monitors contract performance and resource allocation to prevent gaps and ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations. Serves as a primary technical advisor and spokesperson, presenting complex programmatic briefs to higher echelons, federal partners, and external stakeholders to drive collaborative geospatial initiatives. Provides strategic direction, leadership, and operational oversight to a multidisciplinary team of civilian and contractor personnel, planning for long-range staffing needs and fostering a highly technical workforce. Qualifications: This is an interdisciplinary position that may be filled under multiple job series. Applicants must meet the education and/or specialized experience requirements described in the announcement, including specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service. Salary: $143,913 - $187,093 per year. Telework eligible: situational telework as determined by agency policy.
