Digital, AI and Innovation Internship: Global Call for 2026

UNDP's Bureau for Policy and Programme Support (BPPS) is seeking interns for its Digital, AI and Innovation programme as part of a global call for 2026. This is a roster call where UNDP builds a talent pool and country offices subsequently select candidates when needs arise. Applicants select from six workstreams: Policy and Systems Innovation, Digital and AI Initiatives, Data Governance and Privacy, Data Science and Analytics, Strategic Communications, and Product Management. GIS (Geographic Information Systems) is listed among the key technical skills relevant to data roles. The internship is home-based and fully remote, lasting 3 months. Compensation is approximately $1,000 USD per month. Eligibility requirements: candidates must be currently enrolled graduate/PhD students, final-year undergraduates, or graduated within the last 12 months. Required data skills include Python, R, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, and GIS. Applications are received on a rolling basis until September 30, 2026.
