Emergency Management Specialist (Geospatial)

This position will serve as a Senior GIS Analyst on the Data Enterprise Team in the FEMA Region 7 Office of the Regional Administrator, supporting the Region in data and geospatial initiatives and operations. The incumbent provides advanced geospatial analytical support during disaster response and recovery operations, develops and maintains GIS applications, dashboards, and web maps used by federal, state, tribal and local partners, and serves as a senior subject matter expert on geospatial data sharing, analysis, and visualization for emergency management. Duties include conducting complex spatial analysis using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise, building Python and ArcPy automation, designing dashboards in ArcGIS Online for situational awareness, and coordinating with FEMA HQ Geospatial Resource Center. Requires US citizenship, ability to obtain a security clearance, and willingness to deploy in support of disasters.
