As a Risk Analyst within FEMA's Resilience, Engineering and Modeling Division, the ideal candidate will have expertise on a wide range of highly complex initiatives focused on natural hazard risk assessment, risk analysis, loss modeling, geospatial sciences, and technology integration and utilization, while managing complex projects with numerous stakeholders and varied strategic objectives. To qualify at the GS-13 level, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level demonstrating: assessing hazard risks using geospatial analysis, loss modeling methodologies, and spatial statistics; analyzing, troubleshooting, and making recommendations on emerging and critical hazard risks; and researching, investigating, and analyzing risk assessment solutions.
