Engineering Technician (GIS)

Marin Municipal Water District is hiring an Engineering Technician to support its Records Section with substantial GIS responsibilities. The role uses Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software to create and maintain maps of the District's water distribution infrastructure, operates ArcMap, ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Pro for infrastructure data management, locates and marks underground pipes and facilities, updates District GIS infrastructure network data and feature layers, and assists with GIS server administration and maintenance, including custom tools and web map applications. The role combines field work with technical geospatial analysis. One year of experience using ArcGIS is desirable.
