Geospatial Data Analyst (Homebased Retainer)

UNOPS is seeking a Geospatial Data Analyst on a Local Individual Contractor Agreement (LICA) - Retainer Contract at the Local ICA Specialist - 8 (ICS 8) level, with an initial duration of one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. The Geospatial Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, and managing geospatial data from multiple sources, including satellite imagery, aerial photography, GPS, and spatial databases. Responsibilities include providing technical input to project teams on geospatial data use and interpretation, supporting field teams with ground-truthing and practical training on geospatial methods, contributing to project reporting through regular updates and geospatial analysis summaries, and collaborating with engineers, planners, and community representatives to integrate spatial insights into design and delivery. A retainer contract is issued for a period during which services are required intermittently, with a unit price per day worked. Mandatory UN courses must be completed before providing services.
