Geospatial Data Analyst

Dewberry's Geospatial and Technology Services creates geospatial and analytical solutions for real-world engineering, environmental, and community problems. Position supports large scale geospatial analytical modeling efforts to identify hazards, assess risk, and evaluate risk reduction methods. Responsibilities include data feature extraction/compilation, data editing and attribute management, creating digital mapping products, capturing and analyzing data, creating and manipulating databases, elevation data processing, customizing workflows to meet product needs, performing data cleaning and preprocessing using Python scripting, serving as a technical resource on geospatial data analysis, producing workflow documentation, and assisting engineers in hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, modeling, and floodplain mapping. Requires working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS 10x, ArcPro, and ArcGIS Online (AGOL); understanding of GIS and LiDAR data; bachelor's degree in computer science, business, GIS or related field (master's preferred).
