The Sanborn Map Company is hiring a Geospatial Technician for an entry-level position involving digital ortho photography processing, graphics, and quality control. Responsibilities include preparing orthophoto images, performing manual QC on LiDAR data, creating GIS databases, collecting hydro features, and compiling geographic information from satellite imagery and aerial photographs. Requirements: High school diploma (Associate's degree or higher, or certificate in a relevant course of study preferred); preferred exposure to lidar, ortho imagery, and GIS software (Google, Photoshop, CADD, ESRI, Windows); ability to view stereo 3D imagery; authorization to work in the U.S. This is a full-time hourly position paying $17-$22/hour.
