The GIS Analyst - 911 Liaison manages geospatial databases for 911 addresses using advanced GIS software. Researches and manages GIS datasets by creating, editing, and interpreting spatial data; imports, validates, and troubleshoots data from external sources to support county functions. Prepares address, street, and boundary data for the Sheriff's Office Communications Division by continually updating and verifying addresses in the GIS system. Supports automated workflows using FME and ETL methodologies, provides GIS support to multiple county departments, develops procedures and documentation, maintains facility maps using ESRI Indoors, and supports web mapping applications with ArcGIS. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Emergency Management or related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience in Public Safety. One year of professional ArcGIS experience preferred. Salary $63,593-$73,768 annually.
