GIS Analyst / Developer II

The San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans) is hiring a GIS Analyst / Developer II to support SamTrans, the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (JPB), and the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA). The role is responsible for configuring, administering, developing, and integrating both Esri and open-source GIS technologies into enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, Asset Management, Scheduling, and Planning applications. The GIS Analyst / Developer II reports to the Manager, IT or IT Director (Applications) and handles complete systems life cycle management activities including analyses, design, technical requirements gathering, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance for geospatial and other application systems supporting transit operations. Key responsibilities include administering ArcGIS Enterprise environments, building ETL pipelines for transit datasets, developing spatial web applications and dashboards, and collaborating across IT and operations teams.
