The City of Roseville's Environmental Utilities Division is seeking a GIS Analyst I/II to help drive the city's critical infrastructure forward through innovative Geographic Information Systems (GIS) solutions. In this role you will transform complex spatial data into meaningful analysis, maps, reports, and insights that support municipal utility planning, operations, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include building and maintaining GIS databases, coordinating with cross-department teams, and ensuring the accuracy of essential utility data layers for water, sewer, and stormwater systems. The position requires producing high-quality cartographic products, performing spatial analysis, and supporting day-to-day operations of the Environmental Utilities Division. GIS Analyst I requires a Bachelor's degree (preferably in GIS, computer science, information systems, or engineering) with no professional experience required; GIS Analyst II requires two years performing similar duties plus a related Bachelor's degree. Salary $35.66 - $55.20 hourly depending on experience. Full-time, regular, benefitted position represented by Stationary Engineers Local 39. Closing date: 6/21/2026.
