Pasco County's Information Technology Department (Geographic Information Systems Division) is hiring a GIS Analyst to perform moderate-to-complex technical work creating mapping products and working with spatial data. The analyst develops geospatial models, manages data collection and analysis, and generates mapping products for county departments and external agencies. Core duties include designing and maintaining enterprise geodatabases; building and publishing web maps, apps, and dashboards in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise; automating workflows with ArcGIS ModelBuilder, Python, and SQL; performing spatial analysis for planning, public safety, utilities, and emergency management; supporting address and parcel data maintenance; and providing technical support and training to end users. Required skills include ArcGIS ModelBuilder, SQL, JavaScript, and ArcGIS Desktop (Advanced/Standard). Minimum qualifications are a bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, or related field plus 2+ years of GIS experience, or an associate's degree in Computer Science/CAD with 4+ years of GIS experience. A valid Florida driver's license is required. Salary range is $57,598 - $80,637 annually (Pay Grade P40, Exempt).
