The GIS Analyst will support the City of Houston's Enterprise Geographic Information System (EGIS) by performing advanced GIS development and technical support. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is highly proficient in GIS editing, spatial analysis, data management, and web GIS applications. Responsibilities include producing maps, reports and analyses using GIS and database software; developing and maintaining ArcGIS Online web maps, dashboards, and apps; conducting spatial and network analysis using Esri's Spatial Analyst and Network Analyst extensions; and automating GIS workflows using Model Builder, Python, and Arcade. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, planning, or a related field and professional experience with the Esri ArcGIS platform.
