GIS Analyst

The GIS Analyst interfaces with County staff, citizens, businesses, and other governmental agencies to determine how the County's GIS can be applied to their specific tasks. Duties include maintaining expertise in GIS processes and county GIS data architecture; updating core county data layers and training staff on GIS management; answering GIS inquiries from citizens, businesses, and agencies; producing map products and datasets; managing payments, purchase orders, and budget tracking; providing technical support for hardware and software installation; and attending conferences and professional development. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field plus 2 years of geospatial technology experience, or an equivalent combination; Geographic Information Systems certification or equivalent demonstration of skill. Full-time, benefits eligible. Physical demands include medium work up to 50 pounds occasionally. Employees may be required to report during emergencies. Salary $55,124.00-$73,039.00 annually.
