GIS Analyst

The Sanborn Map Company is seeking a GIS Analyst to provide technical expertise in geospatial data processing, quality control, and analysis. The analyst will develop, validate, and maintain spatial datasets while performing analyses and ensuring data integrity. The role requires collaboration with project teams and clients to translate business requirements into geospatial products supporting decision-making and visualization. Responsibilities include working with geospatial tools (Esri ArcGIS and open source platforms), performing geospatial analysis, data collection, and quality assurance activities, creating web-based cartographic maps and presentations, and documenting workflows and methodologies. Requirements: Associate degree in Geography, GIS, or related field (Bachelor's preferred); 2-3+ years of professional GIS analyst experience; proficiency with ArcGIS Pro, Portal, and related ESRI products; knowledge of open source technologies (QGIS, PostGIS); strong communication and organizational skills; U.S. work authorization. Preferred: GIS transportation project experience, linear referencing systems, enterprise geodatabase experience, FME proficiency, Python/R scripting, and GISP certification. In-office daily. Salary range $60K-$75K annually.
