GIS Analyst

The Geospatial Solutions team within ITSCE at the World Bank Group is looking for a GIS / Geospatial Analyst focused on data analysis, Python/JavaScript and geospatial data management. The position is responsible for collecting and managing data, creating mapping services, conducting research, performing technical analyses, and coordinating activities and initiatives. The analyst will create web map applications, maps, and reports displaying complex data analyses. The role provides geospatial technical assistance to World Bank users across multiple operational teams and supports the Bank's spatial data infrastructure. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS or relevant fields with 2 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience working in Spatial Analytics, Geographic Information Systems, or Cartography. Experience in spatial analysis and modeling (e.g., use of ArcGIS Spatial Analyst tools, Model Builder, Python scripting, SQL or equivalent) is expected. Deadline for applications is April 29, 2026.
